Welcome to the Cao Lab in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the University of Washington. We specialize in the cutting-edge fields of mucosal immunoengineering and microbiome pharmaceutics. Our mission is to integrate the principles of drug delivery and immunology to design innovative therapeutic strategies for a broad range of diseases, including infectious, allergic, inflammatory, and autoimmune conditions.
